Laura Killoran

Designer, entrepreneur, and professional artisan crafter, Laura is a Pacific Northwest native who has been designing, creating and selling her crocheted hats and accessories at markets and college campuses in the Seattle area since 2001.

An innovator, a trendsetter, and one of the first self-published designers in the contemporary crafting community, Laura's distinctive urban influenced designs have been featured in several books including Deb Stoller's Stitch 'n Bitch Crochet, the Happy Hooker, and she has made pattern instructions available to DIY crocheters through this website, Croshay Design.

Laura's designer original hats and accessories are available for sale exclusively at Seattle's famous Pike Place Market, a world reknowned destination for artisan handcrafts.  Her market days vary seasonally, so if you're planning a visit, email Laura for current schedule.
Josi Hannon Madera

Exquisite tailoring, saturated color and unapologetic perfectionism are the hallmarks of Josi's approach to both garment design and fashion photography.  She's a lifelong Chicagoan (a southsider, as she likes to remind us) who draws inspiration from the diversity and vibrance of her urban surroundings.

For Croshay Design, Josi wears many hats - photographer, pattern editor, garment designer and website architect. She loves to help other artisans, so if your website needs an updated look, send her an email for information and a quote.

Josi's patterns have been published in several books and magazines (her design even landed the cover of Get Hooked). Her efforts to mesh technology with crochet patterns has led to online video stitch guides and her one-of-a-kind pattern generators - visit Art of Crochet to see all that she has to offer.
